You have seen one company, and you are interested in working with them. However, first things first, you need to look for information regarding a company. Open your browser, check their credibility. If a company will do a background check on you, then you should do the same.
You graduated from a Design major. However, the company is opening vacancies only for accountants and SEO optimizers. What to do? Will you apply for that as well? Make sure that the job you are applying for is the right one for you.

3. BACKGROUND CHECK
As we said earlier, companies nowadays do a background check on their candidates. Maybe, the candidates have said or posted nasty things or improper things online. As a candidate, before applying, you might want to “wash” your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter from any improper posts.

1. LOSING CONNECTION
You don’t have much connection by the time you graduate? That’s too bad. Networking might help you in getting a job, talking about references. However, it is okay. You might have been too busy with your studies until you could not join any organization.
Therefore, start joining one or two. From the circle, you may get workshops, seminars, and symposiums. You may attend one or two and get your network from there.
2. GET TOO COMFY
You are a funny person? That’s okay. However, keep that attitude within yourselves. We recommend that while your cover letter is brief, do not put any funny remarks there. We are trying to keep it formal here, and while funniness might break the ice, it is not appropriate when it comes to job hunting.
3. RE-APPLY TOO FAST
You got rejected from a job, and it is normal. The HR might send you a consolation letter, and say that you can apply for the position again. This is a trap. While the company appreciates your generic passion for the job, do not reapply too fast. Wait for a few months before applying for the job again.
